The Hospice Care Foundation began over 26 years ago as an effort to support hospice care in Missoula. We have worked hard to raise funds in support of hospice care for the community, with the eventual dream of establishing a permanent hospice residence, and we’ve assisted hospice programs financially by helping patients who have no financial resources.
The Hospice Ball is a huge fundraiser and one of the social highlights of the year for Missoula. And this year will be no exception: it’s the Hospice Care Foundation’s 30th Annual Ball. The fundraising from the board has ensured that hospice care has continued to be available to everyone in Missoula and the surrounding area.
A hospice house will ensure that people who cannot remain at home are able to receive the excellent, passionate care that end of life requires, at a safe and beautiful facility right here in Missoula. The Mission of the Hospice Care Foundation is to raise funds to build and sustain a community based hospice house in Missoula.
